204 Texas — approved as Bastrop 552 — is the flagship of the Central Texas buildout: a nearly 600-acre, self-sustained studio complex on the Colorado River in Bastrop, from L.A. production-rental house Line 204 Studios under CEO Alton Butler.
The campus pairs two 10,000-square-foot soundstages with six studios, a three-story office, warehouse and mill space, and on-site grip, lighting and truck rentals — roughly 500,000 square feet in all. It broke ground in 2026, targeting Q2-2026 operation.
On the statewide board, 204 Texas is the single largest anchor of the Bastrop County cluster that carries the Central Texas hub.
